Children are the future — and supporting them is at the heart of our events.

Our passion is to support children-focused organizations that make a meaningful impact in the lives of those they serve. Through our events, known as “It’s Not About…”, we bring the construction industry together for fun, connection, and purpose.

Since 2017, CFA has hosted events such as “It’s Not About Bikes,” “It’s Not About Running,” and “It’s Not About Golf,” to name a few. Each event is built around a simple idea: while we may gather for building bikes, running the Colfax Marathon Relay, or golfing, the true purpose is far greater. It’s about the kids.

Our goal is simple:

• Unite the construction industry through enjoyable, community-building events.

• Raise funds for extraordinary organizations doing meaningful work for children.

• Keep the focus where it belongs — on the kids!

Since 2017, CFA’s “It’s Not About…” events have raised an incredible $125,000 for deserving children’s organizations.
 

In addition to our "It's Not About..." events, CFA participates yearly in Children's Hospital Mobile Blood Drive Program.​
